ABOUT ME |
I am currently a Senior at the University of Alabama pursuing a career in Communications/Broadcasting. Growing up with a professional broadcaster in my home, the desire to communicate with people became an early passion. I was able to study his work and get a feel for the journalism industry at a young age. In high school I furthered my passion for broadcasting when founding the Mauldin High Broadcast Network, an organization that allowed students to discover and grow their interest in journalism and sports commentary. When I arrived at UA I was determined to get as involved as possible. In my short time as a sports journalist I've had the opportunity to work for five different media organizations at the University and in the city of Tuscaloosa, including Crimson Tide Productions the multi-media branch of Alabama Athletics. Each opportunity has been an incredible learning experience, and furthered my desire to work in sports and communication. I am always open to any opportunity to learn and grow, and would love to work with or be in connection with individuals that feel likewise. |
